I'm a husband, father of two, automotive engineering manager, youth sports coach, and photographer who has a genuine passion for capturing the moments that matter.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology from Central Michigan University and have spent the past 22 years working in automotive engineering. My professional career has taught me the importance of preparation, attention to detail, problem solving, accountability, and delivering high-quality work qualities I bring with me into my photography.
I first picked up photography seriously about eight years ago, and what began as a hobby quickly became my favorite creative pursuit. Today, I am a multi-genre photographer with experience ranging from sports and portraits to wildlife, macro, landscape, and event photography. I rarely leave home without a camera.
My connection to youth sports is personal as well as professional. My two children are active in sports, and I have spent the past several years involved in youth athletics as both a parent and coach. That involvement has given me an appreciation for the importance of capturing these moments not only for the athletes, but for the families and communities surrounding them.
At the center of all of it is something pretty simple: I love being a dad, I love sports, and I love creating photographs that preserve the memories that go by far too quickly.
